Our story, our passion, our club
Welcome to Lough Neagh Anglers, where a shared love for fly fishing meets a deep commitment to conservation. Discover our journey, our vision for the future, and the vibrant community that makes our club special.

The heart of Lough Neagh Anglers
Lough Neagh Anglers was born from the shared passion of Brian Stephen and Ronan, who envisioned a club dedicated to responsible fishing on Lough Neagh. Their dream was to establish a fully catch-and-release club, fostering a deep respect for our waterways and the incredible fish within them. What makes us special is this unwavering commitment to conservation and providing a welcoming environment for all anglers, from beginners to seasoned pros. Join us in making that dream a reality, protecting our natural heritage for generations to come.

Protecting our future, inspiring our youth
Our main goal at Lough Neagh Anglers is twofold: to passionately protect fish stocks through stringent catch-and-release practices and to inspire the next generation of anglers. We are actively involved in safeguarding the environment, quickly reporting any pollution concerns and dedicating efforts to stream and spawning bed restoration. Furthermore, we are committed to bringing young people into the exhilarating sport of fly fishing, teaching them not only the skills but also the profound importance of conservation. Help us ensure a thriving future for both fish and budding fishermen.

Our community: local hearts, international skills
The Lough Neagh Anglers club is more than just a group of individuals; it's a vibrant community built around the shared passion for fly fishing. Our members include dedicated local fishermen and women, alongside highly skilled Irish international fly fishermen and fly tyers who bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge. This blend of local understanding and international experience creates a unique and supportive environment for everyone. We believe in sharing knowledge, fostering friendships, and collectively working towards our conservation goals.
"Being part of Lough Neagh Anglers has truly deepened my appreciation for fly fishing and conservation. The community is fantastic, and I've learned so much."
